What I do: 

I'm generally interested in designing three-dimensional in vitro systems to better understand immunological phenomena. These systems can be used to both target pathways for disease treatment and test developed treatments before moving to the in vivo stage. Outside of this work, I also dabble in protein engineering - developing LDL-targeting Fab-cytokine constructs.

Interests:

I'm a musician! I've played the trumpet for about 10 years now and the piano for 15, using the former to play in two community bands in Chicago. I've also recently gotten into running, so you may see me around town running a race in a fun costume :)
